Nashville, TN (September 25, 2013) ---- Fall 2013 is generating even stronger support for the talented modern hymnwriters, Keith & Kristyn Getty. They released their first live album, Keith & Kristyn Getty: Live At The Gospel Coalition to several rave reviews that include; About.com, It's a moment, a movement and a message that you don't just listen to - you live!, Christian Post/Breathecast, If music is likened to food, Keith and Kristyn's is filet mignon, and Soul-Audio.com, Keith & Kristyn Getty are definitely treasures of our world. There have also been high-profile media interviews with NPR All Things Considered, Moody Radio/ In The Marketplace with Janet Parshall, The Janet Mefferd Show, American Family Radio/JJ and Ron In The Morning, WFIL/The Mark Daniels Show, World Christian Broadcasting, among many others.

With the release of the new album and these sterling accolades, Keith and Kristyn Getty are gearing up for their Hymns for the Christian Life 20-city fall tour that launches on Sunday, September 29. The first date in Anaheim Hills, CA is already sold-out with several other dates close to being sell-outs also. The final stop on the tour, November 12, will be on the legendary stage of the Grand Ole Opry at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN.

Another honor for the talented couple was their third career Dove nomination in August for their 2011 album, Hymns for a Christian Life, in the Inspirational Album category. Worship Leader magazine called the project, an extraordinary new album, with Music News Nashville saying, All in all, a stunning collection! The album, which includes duets with Alison Krauss, Ricky Skaggs, and Moya Brennan, features the song, "Christ Is Risen, He Is Risen Indeed," that reached top five on Billboard's Soft AC chart earlier this year.

"Kristyn and I are grateful for the acknowledgement of this album," says Keith Getty. "For two kids who come from the other side of the Atlantic, and who have now made their home in Nashville, we continue to be pleased and thankful for the support we find here in the states. Among our new Nashville friends are Charlie Peacock and Ed Cash who, along with our Irish friend, Fionan de Barra, produced the album and brought every song to life in a most refreshing way."

About Keith & Kristyn Getty
The Gettys met in Belfast, Ireland when they began songwriting together. They were married in 2004, and two years later they recorded their first project as a couple in the United Kingdom and Nashville, TN. In 2007, they made the journey overseas to America and lived in Ohio for three years as they began their professional career, but found their permanent home in Nashville, July 2010. In 2011, the Gettys welcomed a new addition to their family when their daughter, Eliza Joy, was born. The Gettys have released 4 albums and have garnered incredible success in 6 short years that include an acclaimed repertoire of 21st century hymns and one of the most impactful live performances. The couple has toured extensively, including with their Joy - An Irish Christmas concert tour, which has played many of the nation's major concert halls, reaching over 60,000 people in two years. They have also appeared at Franklin Graham crusades, the GMA Dove Awards, The Third Lausanne Conference on World Evangelization, as well as feature performances at London's Royal Albert Hall, the legendary Grand Ole Opry, along with many other noted platforms. One of Keith Getty's most popular compositions is "In Christ Alone," co-written with Stuart Townend and released in 2001. The song was well-received that year but continues to grow in popularity, remaining the #1 most-sung-hymn in the UK since 2006 (CCLI) and finding position among the top 20 such songs in the United States, Canada, and Australia.
